Preparing for Your Session
There's very little you need to do.
A favorite swaddle, one special outfit for baby, and comfortable clothing for parents are usually all you need. Soft, neutral colors photograph beautifully, but feeling comfortable is always more important than perfectly coordinated outfits.
Hospital rooms are kept warm for newborns, so lightweight clothing is often the most comfortable choice. If siblings or grandparents are planning to visit, let us know—we love documenting those first introductions whenever possible.

How Booking Works
Once you reserve your Fresh 48 session, we'll save space on our calendar around your due date and remain on call as your delivery approaches.
When your baby arrives at Emory Midtown, simply send us a text. The photographer on call will coordinate a session time that works around your recovery, visitors, and your baby's schedule. Most sessions take place within the first 24–48 hours after birth while you're still in the hospital.
Babies have their own timeline, which is why our on-call model allows us to be available whenever your story begins.
