Standby Birth Coverage

We never want to promise we'll be at your birth unless we're confident we can truly be there when the time comes. Instead of taking on more births than we can realistically serve, we offer Standby Birth Coverage.

When labor begins, simply text us. If one of us is available, we'll confirm by text and join you once you're in active labor. In most cases—and especially for inductions—we define active labor as around 5–6 cm dilated.

If we're unavailable when labor begins, your deposit doesn't go to waste. It can be applied toward a Fresh48 session (availability permitting before you're discharged) or a family session with the photographer of your choice anytime during your baby's first year.

Because we aren't reserving our schedules by being on call, we're able to offer Standby Birth Coverage at a lower price than traditional on-call birth photography.
